Atlanta based RCA Records signee Royce Rizzy connects with fellow rising artists Chox-Mak & King Mez for a guaranteed hit. Chox-Mak, building something major with DJ YRS Jerzy, is currently taking the internet by storm with frequent releases while King Mez happens to be one of J. Cole’s artists under Dreamville. The production on the new release “Sacrifices” was brought by DJ Profluent, the president of the top rating DJ coalition Fleet DJs. Available for free download over on Audiomack, “Sacrifices” is something that will have your head nodding in anticipation for more music from all of these talented artists.
DJ YRS Jerzey and Chox-Mak have been making some serious moves in the underground music scene, collaborating with many different artists and producers. This time the pair brings along DMV native Bullet Brak and Canadian producer North Villah. Bullet Brak has also built quite a name for himself being featured on the Sway in the Morning radio show and other major publications. Their latest collaborative effort, “Don’t Do It”, can be considered awake up call for anyone that ever thought about giving up on their dreams.
Independent artists are now taking control of their careers and making names for themselves in a big way. Chox-Mak and DJ YRS Jerzy are independent artists working to establish their name in the industry. Their latest single Night Shift has a smooth early 90’s hip-hop feel, mixed with a nice guitar sample that completes the track. With a remix of Asap Nast’s latest “Trillmatic” which also featured Method Man it seemed necessary for Chox-Mak to drop some heat the single based on old school sound of the beat. Chox-Mak and DJ YRS Jerzy’s movement 90’s Flow is all about the good vibes and music surrounding the 1990’s era of hip hop. On a track from Ty Beats who also has produced for ScHool Boy Q, among other big names in the industry, “Mak Matics” is sure to give the 90’s Flow movement more exposure in the industry.
